Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade - What It Is

TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

The Software

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the thing that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
